FOODS TO AVOID WHILE TAKING BLOOD THINNERS

THIN IS IN!

There are between 2 and 3 million people a year prescribed blood thinners in the US.   A blood thinner is a drug that interferes with the bloods' ability to form clots to prevent bleeding.  There are certain medical conditions which require blood thinners such as Plavix or Warfarin in order to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, or blockage.  The most common conditions are Heart Disease, Irregular heartbeat such as Atrial Fibrillation, blood vessel disease, or just prone to blood clots.
